Textual Microcosms Panel at ASEAS Conference 2025 

The Textual Microcosms team presented a panel at the ASEAS Conference 2025, held at St John’s College, University of Cambridge on 15-17 September 2025. The conference, themed “Global Southeast Asia: Continuity and Change,” explored Southeast Asia’s evolving position in global interconnectedness, political developments, environmental challenges, cultural exchanges, and socio-economic transformations. 

On May 28-29 2025 the Textual Microcosms team held its fourth annual workshop. In addition to talks by all project members (see program) we listened to a lecture by Prof. Edwin Wieringa from Cologne University and to remarks by Visiting Fellow Dr. Tony Day from Graz.
